Leadership & Executive Coaching

Leadership & Executive Coaching

Lead with clarity and intention.

Leadership can be rewarding, meaningful, and surprisingly isolating.

You’re expected to make decisions, manage competing expectations, navigate ambiguity, and help other people move forward. There may be few places where you can speak candidly, test an idea, or admit that you’re still figuring something out.

Coaching gives you that place. Swerve’s leadership and executive coaching helps you step back from the immediate demands of your role, see your situation more clearly, and choose how you want to lead, so you can keep delivering at a high level.

When coaching helps

Bring in an alternative perspective.

You don’t need a perfectly defined goal to start. Coaching may be useful when you’re:

  • Stepping into a new leadership role or taking on greater responsibility.
  • Navigating organizational change, uncertainty, or competing priorities.
  • Driving growth, a new strategy, or a big result, and wanting a thought partner to test your thinking.
  • Looking to strengthen your presence, confidence, or communication.
  • Carrying a heavy load and wanting more time to think and lead at your best.
  • Wanting to keep growing as a leader while delivering in a demanding role.

We start with your situation, then focus on how you’re leading through it.

Outcomes

What can change through coaching?

Coaching draws on the six Swerve leadership practices. Depending on your goals, our work may help you:

  • Know your compass: get a clearer picture of your strengths, style, and impact.
  • Keep your footing: stay steady under pressure and think clearly when it counts.
  • Choose your route: set clear priorities and make sound calls with confidence.
  • Share the map: communicate direction so it sticks, and handle the hard conversations well.
  • Build your crew: build ownership across your team so you’re not the bottleneck.
  • Make headway: turn insight into action and measurable impact.

The work is tailored to you, your context, and the challenges you’re navigating.

How I work

Candid, caring, and grounded in real experience.

A coach who knows the terrain.

I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions when it’s useful, and help you examine perspectives you may not have considered.

I’ve led teams and delivered the work myself inside complex organizations. I may not know every context, but I understand the pressures, trade-offs, and expectations leaders face, and I bring that to every conversation.

You bring your experience and your willingness to engage. Sessions combine reflection, honest conversation, and practical experimentation, and you leave each one with something specific to act on.

The process

What does coaching look like?

Look beneath the surface.

We explore what’s shaping how you lead, using assessments where they help.

Clarify what you want to work toward.

We set meaningful goals and agree on what progress looks like in the context of your role and organization, with your sponsor’s input when there is one.

Work through the challenges in front of you.

In sessions, we reflect, challenge assumptions, consider options, and prepare for the conversations or decisions ahead.

Put insight into practice.

You identify actions to try, notice what changes, and learn from what happens. We revisit your goals as your needs evolve.

We agree on the format, frequency, and duration of coaching together, based on your needs and the scope of the engagement.

For organizations

Coaching for individuals and organization-sponsored leaders.

Coaching can be arranged directly by an individual leader or sponsored by an organization. Organizations invest in coaching to help strong leaders step into bigger roles, lead through change, and keep performing under pressure.

When an organization is involved, we clarify the goals, roles, expectations, and confidentiality boundaries at the outset. The coaching conversation stays confidential, so the leader can think openly within the agreed terms of the engagement.
